Completed in 2009, Marlene he also holds an MBA with an emphasis on healthcare management from the University of Mary in Bismark North Dakota. Marlene went on to complete her Post Master’s Certificate in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 2017 at Maryville University in St. Louis Missouri.
She is passionate about patient-centered care. Marlene believes focusing on the patient’s needs and empowering the patient through education, quality care, and cost-effective care is the ultimate goal of a patient-centered practice that leads to improved patient clinical outcomes and positive healthcare experiences.
Marlene enjoys the outdoor activities that Wyoming has to offer throughout the year and is especially partial to fly fishing and camping in the Big Horn Mountains. Marlene and her husband Patrick have 5 grandchildren and together they enjoy sharing hiking, fishing, and camping in the Big Horn Mountains with family and friends.
Marlene Schuman is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Marlene completed an ADN in Nursing at Grossmont College in El Cajon, CA in 1991 and her BSN/MSN degree at the University of Mary in Bismark North Dakota in 2007.
